/St. Valentine
Passed: February 14th 269 A.D
Reality: "Love is a trap. When it appears, we see only it's light, not it's shadow."
Cupid: "But love is always new. Regardless of whether we love once, twice, or a dozen times in our life, we always face a brand new situation. Love can consign us to hell or to paradise, but it always takes us somewhere. We simply have to accept it, because it is what nourishes our existence. If we reject it, we die of hunger, because we lack the courage to stretch out a hand and pluck the fruit from the branches of the tree of life. We have to take love where we find it, even if that means hours, days, weeks of disappointment and sadness. The moment we begin to seek love, love begins to seek us. And to save us."
Reality: "But love is much like a dam: if you allow a tiny crack to form through which only a trickle of water can pass, that trickle will quickly bring down the structure, and soon no one will be able to control the force of the current."
Cupid: "For when those walls come down, then love takes over, and it no longer matters what is possible or impossible; it doesn't even matter if we can keep the loved one by our side. To love is to lose control."
Reality: "Is it really? Or was St. Valentine decieved?"
"Besides, you do know that is why people call you 'Stupid Cupid' right? Catch up with the present already."

/One way ticket
/Standing on the border.
Looking out into the great unknown.
I can feel my heart beating faster as I step out on my own.
/There's a new horizon and the promise of favorable wind
I'm heading out tonight, traveling light.
I'm gonna start all over again.
/I'm going to buy a one-way ticket on a west bound train.
See how far I can go.
I'm going to go out dancing in the pouring rain, and talk to someone I don't know.
/I'm going to climb the mountain, and look the eagle in the eye.
I won't let fear clip my wings and tell me how high I can fly.
/Freedom was waiting, down at the station.
All I had to do was make up my mind.
/Well, I have walked through the fire.
And crawled on my knees through the valley of the shadow of doubt.
Then the truth came shining like a light on me and now I can see my way out.
/I'm going to buy a one-way ticket on a west bound train.
See how far I can go.
I'm going to go out dancing in the pouring rain, and talk to someone I don't know.
